Job Summary: 

As a Platform Sales Internal Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in driving new business by supporting the sales process from lead generation to deal execution. This role requires close collaboration with the Sales Directors, the RFP team, and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of our sales strategy. You’ll focus on identifying opportunities, engaging prospective clients, coordinating the RFP process, and providing the support necessary to close deals and onboard new clients successfully.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Qualification:
Identify and qualify prospective clients through research, outreach, and engagement strategies.
Manage and prioritize inbound inquiries and work with the Marketing and Revenue Enablement teams around outreach strategies for outbound efforts.
RFP Coordination:
Collaborate with the RFP team to manage the Request for Proposal process, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Assist in gathering, organizing, and delivering the required information to align with client needs and deadlines.
Sales Support:
Provide direct support to Sales Directors by coordinating meetings, demos, and client follow-ups.
Assist in the creation of tailored proposals and presentations to effectively address client needs.
Act as a liaison between the external sales team and internal teams to streamline communication and execution.
CRM Management:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities in Salesforce (or equivalent CRM).
Track and report on key performance metrics to support sales forecasting and planning.Market & Product Expertise:
Develop a strong understanding of our platform, solutions, and market positioning.
Articulate our value proposition to prospective clients and address initial questions or concerns.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Marketing to execute campaigns and follow up on leads generated through events and content.
Work with Product and Client Success teams to ensure alignment and smooth handoff for onboarding
Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested. As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk

Required Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or client-facing roles (experience in financial services or technology preferred).
Experience with RFP coordination or responding to RFPs is a strong plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Highly organized with excellent time management and attention to detail.
Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt.
