Platform Issuance Develop & Marketing VP

Join us as a Platform Issuance Develop & Marketing VP at Barclays. You will play a crucial role by developing and implementing structured financial products and solutions to meet the needs of clients. Among the accountabilities for this role, the VP will be in charge of performing risk analysis, assessment of pricing and valuation of structured products and collaboration with internal stakeholders such as traders, risk managers.

You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in the role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job specific technical skills.

To be successful in this role you should have the following:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or mathematics and at least six years of financial services experience gained in relevant structuring or related position Experience of working at an investment bank in a Front Office Equities roleKnowledge of US regulations around Structured Notes/ ProductsDeep technical understanding of different Structured Product payoffsKnowledge and experience in Structured Products pricing, booking and document automation

Additionally, the following skills are also relevant and highly preferred.

Understanding of Structured Products lifecycleKnowledge about and experience with Structured Product platform business in USUnderstanding of client requirementsSeries 7/63 license 

Salary / Rate Minimum: 155,000

Salary / Rate Maximum: 250,000

The minimum and maximum salary/ rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

This role is based in New York.

Purpose of the role

To develop and implement structured financial products and solutions to meet the needs of clients and optimize the bank's market exposure and profitability. 

Accountabilities

Development of innovative structured financial products and solutions to address the specific needs of clients, including derivatives, structured notes, and other structured investment products.Risk analysis and management associated with structured products, including market risk, credit risk, and operational risk, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and bank policies.Assessment of pricing and valuation of structured products, including the use of mathematical models and financial instruments, and liaising with trading to ensure competitive pricing.Collaboration with traders, risk managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective product implementation and risk mitigation.
