In this role, you will:

Provides overall team leadership for the crews and the assets they operate in the areas safety, quality, cost, productivity, continuous improvement, housekeeping, good manufacturing practices (GMP), internal control, asset management, customer service, human resources and team capability development. Drives continuous improvement on the assets in close partnership with the Continuous Improvement (CI) & Capabilities, Reliability and Engineering teams at the manufacturing site and with the regional team. Incumbent will set objectives that will have a direct and significant impact on plant and sector results and in the delivery of customer service for Kimberly-Clark. Effectively lead business objectives for the assigned assets.Works with project teams compiled of employees from multiple disciplines.  This role will have interaction across business sectors and opportunities for involvement in broad based business projects. Lead objectives that are typically are focused at the department and asset level for safety, quality, GMP, housekeeping, customer service, continuous improvement, productivity, cost, internal control, asset management, human resources and team capability development.Responsible for a complex asset base with either number of assets, number of employees, asset complexity and/or business criticality.Own a mill-wide process or standard. The incumbent may also be responsibility for mentoring M1 asset team leaders and/or operations consultants.

Bachelor’s in engineering, business or relevant discipline and 5+ years of related experience in Operations, Business, Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, and/or Maintenance.Fluency in both English and SpanishDemonstrates advanced knowledge in the people management and/or technical areas of expertise (or aptitude to learn) described in the role.Incumbent would possess demonstrated ability to organize, influence and lead a multi-functional team and foster a proactive team environment.Experience in multiple mills, product systems and staff experience, along with leadership of a non-exempt workforce is highly desiredProficient in LEAN business practices. Can role model and teach 4 step simple problem solving, LSW, Visual Management, 5S; Ability to build and manage to a budget.
