This role focuses on fortifying cloud-based infrastructure and applications, ensuring compliance, and proactively addressing cybersecurity threats. Required Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field 3+ years in platform security, security engineering, or a related role. Strong expertise in cloud security with hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure. Proficiency in automated security testing, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing. Familiarity with security monitoring tools, threat detection, and logging systems. Experience collaborating with development teams to implement secure coding best practices and security measures within CI/CD pipelines. Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment. Desired skills Experience implementing DevSecOps principles Knowledge of container security tools such as Lacework or Checkov Familiarity with HIPAA, SOC 2, and FDA compliance. Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or OSCP Previous experience working in healthcare security or medical device cybersecurity
What You’ll Be Doing
Technology Breakdown 40% Cloud Security & Compliance 30% Secure Coding & CI/CD Security Integration 20% Threat Detection & Incident Response’ Day-to-Day Responsibilities Develop and enforce security controls across cloud platforms, infrastructure, and applications. Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards. Implement and maintain automated security testing and vulnerability management systems. Work alongside platform engineers to embed security practices into the software development process. Analyze security alerts, detect threats, and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.
