Job Description
A large manufacturing facility for rubber gloves is building a production campus and requires a skilled PLC Programmer to install and build the automation lines. The PLC Programmer will be responsible for installing and programming PLC units, HMI commissioning, and setting up BACnet Gateways to Ethernet. The role also includes general electrical duties to assist the crew, such as wire pulling, terminations, and low voltage installations.
ResponsibilitiesInstall and program PLC units.Commission HMI systems.Set up BACnet Gateways to Ethernet.Perform general electrical duties, including wire pulling, terminations, and low voltage installations.Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.Assist in setting up automation and production lines.Essential Skills5+ years of PLC programming experience.Experience with Automation Direct Click and Productivity 3000 or Siemens programming.PLC startup and HMI commissioning skills.Boom lift experience and comfortable with heights.Electrical experience in a construction setting.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with BACnet to Ethernet installation.OSHA 10 certification.Boom Lift certification.Extensive electrical installation experience.Experience running instrumentation lines.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is a brand-new construction site for a major facility, involving both indoor and outdoor work in a non-climate-controlled setting. You will work alongside other subcontractors and employees of the general contractor. The team on-site includes a foreman and several technicians. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a potential for overtime on Fridays if necessary.

This is a Contract position based out of Rosharon, Texas.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
