Compensation: $65-75/hour, DOELocation: Pecos, TXWork Schedule: 14/14 rotationAssignment Duration: 12 months+Benefits: Comprehensive insurance, 401(k) program, PTO & HolidaysMan Camp available Responsibilities Executes on Automation Engineering deliverables by programming and/or installing PLC programs and validating compliance to engineering design. Supports Automation Engineering with design and control systems improvements. Works with Automation Construction and Commissioning Project Managers to commission facilities. Responsible for PLC Programming development and HMI/LOI programming and design work. Assists with oversite of automation electrical design. Troubleshooting/Testing/Debugging of programs and redlining of engineering documentation as applicable for Engineering As-Builts. Manages timely deliverables on projectsAll aspects of facility commissioning with focus on automation control systemsResponsible for maintaining project schedules to meet timelinesAdvanced understanding of facilities equipment, process flow and automation control systems and designs. Savvy with Electrical systems, Mechanical systems, Software applications, data management, and network security with ability to apply knowledge and experience to offer solutions.Develop and validate function of automation programs ensuring compliance to automation engineering documentationUse of all forms of software such as PLC Software (Examples) RSLogix500, RSLogix5000, DirectSoft5, ROCLINK 800/DS800; programs for HMIs, Red Lion Crimson, Factory Talk View, and Panelview; program RTUs and support troubleshooting.Complete redlines and relevant documentation to automation engineering (C&Es, P&IDs,1-lines, etc.) to support current AS-BUILT post commissioning.Support training of aspiring automation integrators on organizational processes, programming automation control systems, equipment, and documentation.Support low VAC devices – including but not limited to transformers, breaker boxes, electrical switches, heaters, motors and analyzersProvide troubleshooting and basic repair to 120v AC power supply to automation systems and devices. Support troubleshooting of 480v and less of AC power availability and notify electrical team of findings needing service/repair. Support automation end devices (switches, transmitters, etc.)  - calibrate, troubleshoot, install, and use Hart communicator and multi metersIdentify and troubleshoot Ethernet, serial, satellite and wireless field communicationsResponsible for ensuring alarms are within the guidelines of Client standards, accurately represent the process, function as intended and follow appropriate change control protocols Qualifications 4-year technical degree (Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation Control Systems or related field or equivalent work experienceAdvanced level of understanding of automation and electrical design principlesAdvanced Knowledge & technical skills working with PLCs, HMIs, RTUs, EFMs, POCs (Allan Bradley, Totalflow, ROCs, Coriolis, etc.) and automation end devices7+ years Automation Integrator/Programming experience3+ years of Oil Field Process Facilities experience
