About the Opportunity

As a result of an increasing portfolio of projects, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a PLC/SCADA Software Testing Engineer to join the team based out of our Westlakes Testing Facility. 

Accountabilities

Plan and prioritise own work to ensure that functional project requirements are on scope, time and cost are met Carry out testing of the  PLC/SCADA code produced by others Carry out commissioning activities at client site as required, to ensure successful engineering handover Ensure that work complies with all necessary corporate, departmental and legislative requirements and procedures, to guarantee that the necessary consistency and quality of delivery is maintained Recognise and address potential and actual cross-discipline issues and conflicts so that overall engineering input to a project is coherent Develop own engineering experience and skills, moving towards the capability to move to a more senior role and towards professional qualification *

Degree qualified in appropriate discipline PLC/SCADA knowledge Substantial relevant experience in relevant project design work, is required to fully perform the role Mobility and flexibility to work anywhere in home country Can produce, check, and provide technical oversight of CE&I key deliverables documents / reports, calculations, schedules, drawings etc. to programme and appropriate quality
