**PLC Specialist - Delaware**
**Job Description**
This position is for a Journeyman Electrical Specialist (Maintenance Electrician) in Delaware. The role involves working as a Maintenance Technician supporting the operation of a corrugated box plant. Candidates will start training on 1st shift for a few weeks/months based on their skill set before moving to the allocated 3rd shift. The primary responsibility is to respond to line calls and maintain the preventative maintenance program in a manufacturing environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Respond to line calls and perform preventative maintenance.
+ Practice safe work habits at all times.
+ Parallel all rolls, make required settings, and adjustments for optimum equipment performance.
+ Teach other maintenance classifications in qualification requirements and proper maintenance procedures.
+ Adjust, calibrate, and align circuitry & components and record effects on unit performance.
+ Analyze and interpret data from solid state motor drives and controllers using meters and electronic test equipment.
+ Utilize electrical schematics and make sketches to clarify design details and functional criteria of electronic units.
+ Troubleshoot programmable controllers and repair all A/C and D/C drives and their control systems.
+ Use all aspects of the maintenance software program.
+ Plan and schedule maintenance work, assign tasks to other maintenance classifications.
+ Follow up on all work to ensure repairs and tasks are performed properly.
+ Maximize the utilization of equipment by maintaining machinery to run at available capacity and speed.
+ Complete all paperwork neatly, correctly, and in accordance with company guidelines.
+ Willingly work all necessary hours and shifts.
+ Help maintain good housekeeping in work areas.
+ Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
+ Additional duties as assigned by management.

**Work Environment**
This is a manufacturing environment where candidates will be responsible for the upkeep of the machines and the facility. The facility is relatively clean but can get dusty at times. It is not climate controlled, so candidates need to be comfortable working in warm and cool environments. The facility is a union facility, and candidates will be required to join the union after a 30-day probationary period.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $74880.00
