**Job Title: PLC Technician** **Job Description** We are looking for a skilled PLC Technician who is capable of reading volt meters, performing single and three-phase motor replacements, diagnosing and refurbishing pumps, and wiring and replacing three-phase motors. Experience in the food industry and VFD troubleshooting are a plus, but not mandatory. Candidates should have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in an industrial capacity. **Responsibilities** + Perform emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production. + Conduct scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. + Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs. + Perform mechanical skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines. + Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. + Ensure compliance with OSHA safety and health rules. + Maintain a clean shop area and production areas after repairs. + Ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) procedures are followed as outlined by regulatory bodies. + Proactively identify maintenance needs and promote a team approach to fulfilling these needs. + Troubleshoot electrical systems and provide maintenance support. + Maintain a professional working relationship with vendors. + Participate in developing and maintaining plant safety awareness. + Support company priorities by looking for ways to improve safety, quality, and waste reduction/productivity. + Represent the company and yourself in a professional manner at all times. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read volt meters. + Experience in single and three-phase motor replacements. + Experience diagnosing and refurbishing pumps. + Experience wiring and replacing three-phase motors. + Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in an industrial capacity. + Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and AC/DC motors. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in the food industry is a plus. + VFD troubleshooting experience is a plus. + Ability to perform electrical repairs. + Knowledge of GMP and SOP procedures. + Ability to maintain a professional attitude and a sense of urgency during normal operations. **Why Work Here?** We offer significant opportunities for upward growth due to the size of our company and the willingness of our plant engineer to train employees in their weaker areas. **Work Environment** The work environment is within the dairy industry, but not in a freezer setting. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of COMMERCE, California. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
