Job Title: PLC Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled PLC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing robotic systems and equipment. This role involves developing diagnostic tools, maintaining repair reports, and ensuring the upkeep of tools and repair areas. The PLC Technician will also be responsible for completing assigned projects within negotiated time and cost schedules and assisting with equipment purchase proposals.

ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair damaged and/or malfunctioning robotic systems, equipment, and components.Assist in the development and selection of diagnostic test and troubleshooting tools, devices, and fixtures.Develop and maintain detailed repair activity reports.Maintain good housekeeping of tools, equipment, and repair area.Develop proposals for equipment purchase, maintenance, and operation instructions.Assume responsibility for the completion of assigned projects within negotiated time and cost schedules.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills5+ years of experience with assembly and troubleshooting.Ability to read blueprints and complex mechanical drawings.Experience in robotics.Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, and PLC programming.Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Understanding of ladder logic and instrumentation.Additional Skills & Qualifications2 or more years of proven competency in a technical capacity.Proven experience in troubleshooting robotic equipment and industrial automation systems.Self-motivated and highly organized.Ability to lift 35 pounds and stand for long periods.Understanding of various mechanical and electrical test equipment.Ability to read and interpret specifications, wiring diagrams, and part prints.Capability to handle multiple tasks.Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation.Hands-on skill set; ready to learn, absorb, and utilize information quickly.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is an indoor warehouse, which is a non-airconditioned facility with large industrial equipment. During training and acclimation, the shift will be Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm for approximately 3-8 weeks. Post-training, available shifts include Monday to Friday from 6 am to 2 pm, Monday to Friday from 12 pm to 8 pm, and Tuesday to Saturday or Wednesday to Sunday from 6 am to 2/4 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooksville, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00
