Job Title: PLC Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled PLC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs, as well as electrical systems up to 480v. This role also involves working with VFDs, photoeyes, sensors, and performing mechanical troubleshooting. Additional duties include repairs on AC/DC motors, three-phase systems, temperature controllers, and conveyor systems.

ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs.Work with electrical systems up to 480v.Handle VFDs, photoeyes, and sensors.Perform mechanical troubleshooting on various equipment.Repair AC/DC motors and three-phase systems.Conduct temperature controller repairs.Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems.Essential SkillsPLC troubleshooting experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley.Electrical troubleshooting up to 480v.Experience with VFDs, photoeyes, and sensors.Mechanical troubleshooting skills.Knowledge of AC/DC motors and three-phase systems.Experience in temperature controller repairs.Conveyor maintenance and troubleshooting.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with PLC ladder logic is a plus.Proficiency in hydraulics and pneumatics.Experience with pumps, gearboxes, and motor control.Ability to read blueprints and schematics.Experience as a maintenance technician in the Food & Beverage or Pharmaceutical industries is a plus.Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience with true troubleshooting and repair expertise.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Our facility is temperature-controlled, maintaining a comfortable 68-72 degrees year-round. The site includes a 150k sq ft manufacturing area and a nearby 200k sq ft distribution center. We foster a team-oriented environment with one director, one supervisor, shift leads, and multiple technicians across shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Largo, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $40.00
