Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated PLC Technician to join our manufacturing team. As a PLC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting PLC systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC systems in a manufacturing environment.Work with 24V control systems and ensure their proper operation.Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on PLC equipment.Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues related to PLC systems.Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machine performance.Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.Essential SkillsProven experience as a PLC Technician in a manufacturing setting.Strong knowledge of 24V control systems and PLC programming.Solid mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with various PLC brands and models.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsTechnical certification or degree in a related field is preferred.Experience with preventive maintenance and general repair techniques.Knowledge of assembly, hand tools, and general labor tasks.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This role operates in a manufacturing environment where you may be exposed to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. You should be able to lift and move items up to 30 lbs. and work with hand tools and other equipment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pinellas Park, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
