Job PurposeEnerSys has embarked on a journey to implement a best-in-class PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Solution across the organization. The Global PLM Systems vision is to serve as a single source of truth for all Product Data and improve collaboration across the organization. We are looking for a PLM AI Analyst Intern to assist in integrating artificial intelligence (AI) technologies within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience working on projects focused on automating Configuration Change Management (CCM) tasks, analyzing data, and improving workflows. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students passionate about AI and PLM to learn how advanced technologies are applied.
1. AI Implementation in PLM Processes:
Assist in developing and testing AI models for automating PLM workflows, such as CCM and impact analysis. Support the deployment of AI tools to analyze product configurations and ensure impacts of the changes are properly captured.2. Configuration Change Management (CCM):
Understand EnerSys specific CCM standards. Collaborate with the team to identify critical impacts of configuration changes and maintain traceability.3. Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze historical PLM and CCM data to identify trends and support AI model training. Generate reports and dashboards that provide insights into the efficiency and effectiveness of PLM processes.4. Documentation and Process Support:
Assist in maintaining technical documentation for AI tools and their integration into PLM systems. Document findings and provide recommendations for process improvements.5. Collaboration with Teams:
Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and IT, to understand PLM workflows. Participate in team meetings to present progress, share learnings, and gain feedback. Qualifications Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Familiarity with AI/ML tools and frameworks (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn). Understanding of data analysis tools and techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Coursework or certifications in PLM systems and/or AI
2. Experience with small AI projects (e.g., coursework or personal projects).
1. Proficient in MS Office and MS Project applications
2. Proficient in one of the scrum tools like Jira, Rally or Azure Dev Ops
