PLM Teamcenter Solutions Engineer (Penang)
Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
We are looking for PLM Teamcenter Senior Solutions Engineer to join our Global Services team. This role is based in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia.
Requirements:• Willing and eligible to work based in Penang.• Must have minimum 2-5 years of Enterprise systems support experience (PLM/MES/ERP), with at least 2 years supporting a customer production instance.• Hands-on experience and knowledgeable to support systems in Cloud environment such as AWS Cloud, Azure or Google Cloud.• Hands-on experience in Linux and additionally in Windows Operating System will be preferred.• Strong analytical, systematic problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities• Demonstrated capability to perform root cause analysis and result at the right solution• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Team player and willing to learn new things
Other Technical skills (Good to have):• Catia, AutoCAD and/or ProE CAD Integration experience with Teamcenter• SQL Scripting and DBA knowledge on Oracle/MS SQL• Distributed FMS Configuration
Teamcenter skills (Good to have):• Teamcenter Installation and Configuration• Teamcenter custom template install using BMIDE• Dispatcher configuration• Active Workspace Installation and Configuration• NX and SolidEdge CAD Integration• Working experience in Perl/Batch Scripts
Roles and Responsibilities:• Solve L2 tickets on the application and reach out to PLMS for Product Issues and Raise IRs.• Work with L3 team on issues which cannot be solved by L2.• Apply patches on test, UAT and Production Server.• Work within global team supporting 24x7 customers and may have to work on call during holidays.• Provide workarounds to issues, document root cause analysis of the issues and communicate with users on issues.• Develop Knowledge Management database for the solved issues.
