Who You Are

Under direct supervision, performs routine assignments as an entry level professional. Develops core job competencies with existing procedures by solving standard problems.

This is a contingent position based upon contract award

What You’ll Do

As a Plumber, you will:

Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.

Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.

Follow building plans and blueprints.

Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.

Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.

Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.

Other duties as required

Qualifications:

5+ years of proven experience as a plumber.

Minimum journeyman required.

Master license preferred.

Backflow certification preferred.

Strong understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.).

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

High School Diploma or GED: Required as a basic educational foundation.

Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.

Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.

Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.

Clearance:  A Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with a Polygraph is required to start.
