**Job Title: Plumber** _$34-46_ _6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with potential overtime._ _Vancouver and South Vancouver sites_ **Job Description** Our client is in search of a Plumber for a long-term opportunity. This person will be working on new construction institutional projects. Responsibilities include plumbing, working with cast iron, copper, pipe sizes ranging from 0.5 to 4 inches, rough-ins, mechanical joints, Wirsbo pipe, finishing, and installation of faucets, toilets, and piping. No windows or drywall, deck layout, cast iron, copper, black iron heating pipe, mechanical room, and welding. Work with a foreman and anywhere from 1-5 other journeymen and 1-5 apprentices. The work environment is demanding, aiming to maximize productivity while ensuring timely completion of tasks. Overtime may be required. Work sites are located in the Lower Mainland, and primarily South Surrey for about 1.5 years. The company fosters a family-oriented environment, expecting team cohesion during overtime. Employees are long-term, with many foremen having been with the company since their first-year apprenticeship. The company avoids mass layoffs and has grown its workforce gradually through return clients.
