Job Description

New opportunity specializing in the manufacturing of pre-manufactured modular homes for multi-family living, and hospitality developments. These modular homes are manufactured in a production environment and then assembled on-site by a general contractor. We are seeking an experienced Plumber with knowledge of both residential and commercial builds.

ResponsibilitiesInstall water, vent, and waste pipes, along with appliances and fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and dishwashers in modular units.Install pipes for water and gas.Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvents, caulking, or soldering.Assemble fittings and valves for installation.Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles using hand and power tools or machines.Follow installation instructions.Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems.Perform other related duties as assigned.Essential Skills5+ years of experience in commercial and residential new builds.Ability to read blueprints and knowledge of plumbing applications.Ability to work in collaboration, lead, and be a team player.Skilled in interpersonal communication and establishing effective working relationships.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in electrical installation, building codes.Skills in troubleshooting, conduit bending, and pulling cable.Experience in both commercial and residential construction.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This is a shop-based position that does not count towards hours for a Journeyman or Master license. The position offers year-round work in a single location, eliminating the need for travel. Work hours are Monday to Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, with an optional Friday shift. There is also an evening shift from 4:00 pm to 2:00 am, with optional Friday shifts. The company focuses on multi-family living, and hospitality development sectors, designing, engineering, and manufacturing industry-leading modular units for the Upper-Midwest region.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albertville, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
