Job Description

We are looking for a skilled plumber with expertise in No Hub, plumbing installation, branch lines, shower lines, gas lines, copper plumbing, and cast iron plumbing. The ideal candidate will have experience in brazing and soldering copper pipes, working with PVC and PEX, and handling plumbing sewer lines, drain lines, and septic lines.

ResponsibilitiesInstall and maintain plumbing systems including gas, copper, and cast iron lines.Perform brazing and soldering of copper pipes.Handle PVC and PEX plumbing installations.Install and repair drain lines, shower lines, and plumbing sewer lines.Read and interpret blueprints for plumbing designs.Ensure all plumbing work is performed to the highest standards to avoid reopening walls.Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures.Essential SkillsProven experience with No Hub, plumbing installation, and plumbing fixture work.Proficiency in brazing and soldering copper pipes.Experience with copper and cast iron plumbing.Knowledge of PVC and PEX installations.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.OSHA 30 certification.SST 10 certification.F60 and G60 certifications.DOB Gas Card.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust have own tools, PPE, and measurement tools.Plumbing Journeyman set of hand tools.Ability to work in a high-paced, production-oriented environment.Must be a team player with excellent communication skills.Ability to take feedback well and continually improve.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This role requires working across various locations including Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the Bronx, accessible by car or public transportation. The work environment is strict with a focus on perfect attendance, task completion, and high productivity. No standing around, no air pods, and no phones are allowed. The working hours are from 5:00am - 6:00am start times with ending times around 3:00pm - 5:00pm, with overtime available. Candidates must be committed to a career, not just a job, and treat their work with the utmost precision and care.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
