Education:
High School diplomaApprentice License permitted, Journeyman’s license preferredLicensure:
• Valid state-issued driver’s license
• Must have at least an Apprentice License (3,750-hour requirement) at hire, however must obtain Journeyman’s license within 12 months of hire
Experience:
4 years experience, preferably in an institutional setting, in order to understand plumbing repair proceduresSkills:
• Thorough knowledge of the principles of plumbing and mathematics
• Thorough knowledge of current trends, codes, safety practices and technologies related to the trade and associated trades
• Skill in data analysis and interpretation
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Inspects and/or tests mechanical and plumbing systems. Repairs defects in mechanical and plumbing systems by soldering, brazing or welding.
• Inspects drain lines by using drain line cleaning equipment.
• Replaces valves, pipe, and any associated plumbing devises.
• Repairs, installs and maintains mechanical/plumbing equipment and systems by reading, interpreting and working from blue prints, diagrams and schematics.
• Prepares estimates of time, labor and materials. Prepares reports reflecting daily operations and project status.
• Operates and maintains tools and equipment of the plumbing trade. Cleans work area upon completion of project.

$23.53 - $38.57Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
