We want you to apply! **Job Summary and Qualifications** • Ability to install, inspect, repair, and replace fittings and plumbing fixtures expediently • Ability to assist Director and/or Supervisor in evaluating special projects, general contractors to insure workmanship and projects, general contractors to insure workmanship and projects meet or exceed state, JC, and other agencies standards. • Ability to assess existing installation and institute corrections before emergencies. • Assist with the coordination of emergency services as required by Supervisor, or Director • Responds to web request and calls according to department standards • Updates work order program as needed per job duties • Evaluates materials for cost effectiveness and reviews findings with Director and/or Manager • Evaluates workmanship and products used for in-house special projects, outside general contractors and all others pertaining to discipline • Participates and response to all Hospital emergencies, including, but not limited to fire, bomb threads, disaster codes, security codes, and all other emergencies as required the department supervisor and director • Ensure all assigned task are completed according to policy and procedure, JACHO, NFPA 99, Life Safety Code 101, TDH licensing standards, and all other NFPA Codes as needed • Perform other duties as assigned **What qualifications you will need:** + Licensed Plumber + Vocational School Graduate HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest (https://careers.hcahealthcare.com/pages/hca-houston-healthcare-northwest) is a **415+ bed acute care hospital** that has been serving the north Houston communities for more than 40 years, providing a wide range of medical services including cardiology, maternity care, **Level III NICU** , pediatrics, bariatrics and neurology.
