Position Overview Keep Our Springfield Assembly Plant Flowing Smoothly! Plumber & Steamfitter Needed at International Earn $35.02 per hour + 6% shift differential* & benefits beginning on day one! You'll be responsible for: Installation and repair of all factory steam and pipefitting systems, plumbing equipment, and fixtures. Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing pneumatic systems, including air logic, pumps, paint delivery systems, and more. Must Have: A High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Journeyman certification in plumbing and steamfitting OR a minimum of 8 years' experience. *Shift Differential only available on second and third shift. Responsibilities Must be thoroughly experienced and competent on major work such as toilets, wash basins, drains and waste pipes, working to drawings, sketches, and instructions Install and repair various kinds and sizes of factory pipe of a simple nature on such as gas, air, water, steam, and oil pipes Must be able to select and calculate appropriate material and sizes for each job based on application and trade standards Must be skilled in the use of trade tools and machines such as pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, pipe dies, and pipe threaders Must have general knowledge of hot water and steam heating systems Must have a working knowledge and repair all types of air and oil operated cylinders and valves Develop and maintain records for projects and repairs Maintain clean and orderly workspace Perform other related duties as assigned Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalent Journeyman certification OR Minimum 8 years experience as a Plumber- Steamfitter Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
