**Commercial Plumber** **Job Description** This project site is in Blythewood, SC on a new construction commercial site, the project is expected to go on until the end of 2025. We are needing commercial plumbers who are capable of reading and comprehending blueprints and can lead or direct a crew of helpers if asked. **First Shift:** Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 5:00PM **Responsibilities** - 4+ years' plumbing experience - Experience installing underground and rough-in (above ground) plumbing at new industrial / commercial construction projects - Experience with multiple types of piping materials (copper, cast iron, PVC) - Ability to join pipes using soldering and brazing techniques - Ability to read blueprints and schematics to install pipes with minimal guidance **Essential Skills** - Use blueprints and schematic diagrams to assemble and install underground and above-ground plumbing / piping systems for commercial and industrial new construction projects. - Cutting, threading, and bending pipe to required angles - Use power tools to make passageways in floors and walls to run pipes - Assemble and install metal (copper and cast iron) and non-metal (PVC) pipes, valves, and fittings - Solder and braze to join pipes using screws, bolts, fittings, and other hardware - Test pipes to ensure systems are working properly - Provide guidance to Plumber Helpers working on the crew **_If interested in this opportunity please contact Erin Richey at Aerotek (240) 389-4113 or email resume to erichey@_** **_aerotek.com_** **_for a faster response_** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00 • Medical, dental & vision • Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital • 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available • Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) • Short and long-term disability • Health Spending Account (HSA) • Transportation benefits • Employee Assistance Program • Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Blythewood,SC. **Application Deadline** This position will be accepting applications until Dec 26, 2024. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
