Plumbing Apprenticeship Instructor - FT Location: Lehi, UT Status: Full-Time Hours: 40 hours per week. Classroom instruction hours may vary based on program needs, with each class consisting of three hours of meaningful, skill-based instruction. Additional time will be allocated for lesson planning, student support, and administrative duties. What You’ll Do: Responsibilities of the Plumbing Apprenticeship Instructor include, but are not limited to: + Deliver engaging, hands-on instruction that prepares students for real-world success. + Collaborate with faculty and administrators to develop and maintain a strong, industry-relevant curriculum with clear learning objectives. + Design and implement lesson plans, ensuring students gain practical skills through lab work and real-world applications. + Supervise and evaluate students in lab, clinical, externship, or other work-based learning experiences to ensure competency. + Mentor students by providing feedback, encouragement, and guidance to help them complete the program, pass licensure exams, and secure employment in the field. + Utilize the Learning Management System (LMS) to support student learning and help new students adapt to the technology. + Track student progress, maintain records, and develop academic improvement plans as needed. What We’re Looking For: + Education Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. + Licensure: Must be a licensed journeyman or master plumber. + Industry Expertise: A strong knowledge of current plumbing principles, methods, and techniques with hands-on experience in the field is needed. + Technology Skills: Familiarity with the trade's modern tools, software, and instructional technology. + Teaching & Mentorship: Ability to guide, instruct, and inspire students, helping them develop technical skills and professional confidence. + Commitment to Student Success: It is essential to have a passion for supporting students in reaching their full potential through education and hands-on training.
