Job Title: Plumbing Assembler

Job Description

Assembling plumbing for specialty fire trucks. You will be responsible for installing various components and ensuring the proper functioning of the plumbing system.

ResponsibilitiesInstall heat exchange not already installed with valueInstall master drainInstall primer controlInstall manual pump shiftInstall discharge, R&L rear and front bumpersInstall bleeder drainsConnect lines to gauge panelSelf-check workMeet production goalsCut and thread pipes using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe threading machineBend pipes to the required angle using a pipe bending machine or by handJoin pipes using screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent, and caulk jointsAssemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipesFill pipe systems with water or air and read pressure gauges to check for system leaksEssential SkillsProficiency with hand and power toolsPlumbing experienceExperience with plumbing/fire protectionExperience with cutting toolsExperience with boiler systemsExperience with drainage systemsInstallation skillsThreading skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsMotivated and hard workingTeam-orientedGreat attendance and longevityReady to workWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

Day shift employee headcount is between 15-20, and night shift headcount is between 8-10 employees. Work hours are 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $41600.00/yr.
