An MEP Consulting Engineering firm located in the western suburbs of Chicago is looking to add a Plumbing/Mechanical Designer to their team! Job Description: + Responsible for designing plumbing and mechanical/HVAC systems for retail, restaurant, and commercial projects + Main responsibility will be to lead plumbing designs, but will assist with HVAC drawings on an as needed basis + Attend kick off meetings with clients + Code research + Perform field surveys of existing buildings conditions + Produce load calculations Qualifications: + Associates or Bachelors in a related field + 5+ years of experience + AutoCAD proficiency + Ability to produce plumbing drawings independently + Familiarity with HVAC drawings + Knowledge of building codes Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $48.08/hr.
