A multi-disciplinary engineering firm located in Chicago is looking to add a Plumbing Engineer to their team! About: Responsible for plumbing and fire protection design for commercial, residential, K-12, and institutional buildings. When plumbing and fire protection projects are slow, will be engaged in traditional mechanical engineering tasks. Job Responsibilities: + Design plumbing and fire protection systems for a variety of building types + Utilize Revit and AutoCAD for design and drafting purposes + Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and technicians + Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards in plumbing and fire protection design Qualifications: + Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field + 2+ years of experience in plumbing and fire protection design + Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
