Job Responsibilities

As a Plumbing Designer/Engineer II, you will work on a variety of projects, from small to large, providing technical leadership in plumbing design. You will represent the Firm in all interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members.

Additional Responsibilities:

Conducts field inspections to determine existing conditions and to coordinate new work then assists Senior Engineer in preparation of due diligence, feasibility, gap analysis and other technical reports and drawings. Coordinates with other disciplines and work in close contact with the entire design team Creates basic designs under the direction of the senior engineer and/or senior designer perform equipment selections, load/energy and pressure drop calculations for a variety of projects and project sizes Master’s drawing organization format and company standards

Job Requirements

This is a great opportunity for a Plumbing Engineer/Designer II with Commercial, Institutional, and Large Infrastructure Design experience. The ideal candidate will also have design experience in Aviation and Healthcare. In addition to your engineering experience, to succeed in this role, you will need a solid knowledge of systems design for various projects with the ability to communicate design concepts via sketches and renderings. 

Additional requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering; exceptional candidates may substitute with significant years of experience  18+ months of relevant experience in the MEP industry. Demonstrate a high-level of proficiency in design and calculation software. Demonstrates Revit skills from mark-ups through production detailed drawings. Possesses a basic knowledge of construction documentation. Possesses a basic understanding of applicable building codes. Possesses a working knowledge of the construction process (Bid Process, Change Orders, RFI’s, Addenda, Bulletins) Pursues and attains LEED accreditation

The salary range listed below is for this particular job posting.  Actual pay range for candidates will be commensurate with candidate’s experience, skillsets and competencies and may differ based on the cost of labor in their particular location.
