Job Title: Plumbing Estimator

Job Description

Assist the supervisor in preparing estimates, attending meetings, and executing design and build project plans. Compile estimates as instructed. Comply with bid deadlines appropriately. Interact professionally with architects, engineers, general contractors, and subcontractors. Maintain current knowledge of plumbing and piping industry standards, practices, and codes. Stay updated on standards, practices, codes, and fee schedules of the appropriate authority having jurisdiction. Utilize computer software programs such as Accubid, Quick Pen, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and the person effectively. Maintain discretion regarding the company’s estimating methods, personnel wages, overhead, profit, and other company practices and strategies. Ensure confidentiality of discussions with company personnel. Cultivate and maintain positive, professional, honest, and hardworking relationships with customers, contractors, and company personnel.
