Plumbing Foreman
**Job Title: Commercial Plumbing Foreman** **Job Description** The Commercial Plumbing Foreman is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of a team of plumbers on commercial projects. This role involves managing the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes, and providing leadership and guidance to apprentices and junior plumbers. **Responsibilities** + Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in commercial buildings. + Read and interpret blueprints, building codes, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems. + Inspect work sites to assess project scope, identify challenges, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes. + Allocate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule. + Train and mentor apprentices and junior plumbers, providing guidance on proper techniques, safety protocols, and tool usage. + Communicate with contractors, construction managers, and clients to discuss project plans, report progress, and resolve issues. + Perform advanced plumbing tasks, such as designing custom systems or troubleshooting complex issues. **Essential Skills** + Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations. + Ability to lead and inspire a team, delegate tasks, and manage time effectively. + Skilled in diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues. + Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members, contractors, and clients. + Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with safety standards. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with reading blueprints and piping systems. + Proven track record in a leadership role within a construction environment. **Why Work Here?** Join a top contractor in the market and work full-time on prestigious projects, including an 800-million-dollar justice center, a YMCA, and several large-scale distribution centers. **Work Environment** Work in a commercial construction environment, managing multiple high-profile projects.
