Job Description

We are seeking a Plumbing Service Technician for the Hampton Roads area. Technicians will service various commercial and residential clients, including troubleshooting plumbing systems and performing preventative maintenance.

ResponsibilitiesService and maintain plumbing systems for various commercial and residential clients.Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues.Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing systems.Install and repair piping and plumbing fixtures.Read and interpret blueprints to assess plumbing system layouts.Work with PVC pipes and other plumbing materials.Essential Skills4 years of service experience in plumbing.Experience in both residential and commercial plumbing.Strong mechanical aptitude.Proficient in troubleshooting plumbing systems.Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with PVC pipes and plumbing installations.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving skills.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Typical hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with some weekends if needed. Technicians will be on call every eighth week.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport News, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
