The Mission Ahead
Under direct supervision, assigned daily work. May explain instructions and documentation to plan work activities. Helps coordinate movement of materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site. Completes and reviews records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean up activities. Job may require moderate to heavy lifting. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
Who You Are
Assists the project team by input to identify key success factors, timing of design and procurement deliverables, and establishing common work breakdown structures. Provides leadership to cause the creation of organizational structure and processes required to fully execute the requirements of services and is responsible for the execution of Plumbing services, quality, subcontractor performance, and construction cost. Evaluates Plumbing service execution for compliance to contract, design data, schedule, cost budgets, and quality, advising the project team of status, issues, impacts, risk, and cost influence factors on to go scope. Monitors the implementation of safety orientations safety indoctrinations and gang box meetings and provides coaching for improvement. Monitors crews for organizational structure sizing crew mix ratios and wage compliance. Reviews and monitors cost and man-hour budget for installation process and develops a staff facilities equipment and tool requirement plan.
This role will be located in Chantilly, VA, and will be expected to travel between our facilities in Chantilly and Springfield, VA. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.
What You’ll Do
As a Plumbing Supervisor, you will:
Oversee and manage large plumbing projects.
Design plumbing systems and select appropriate materials.
Inspect and test installed systems and pipelines, and resolve any issues found.
Train and mentor junior plumbing staff.
Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.
Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.

Qualifications:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Must possess an active U.S Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required. Willingness to take a polygraph and upgrade clearance as required.
Valid master plumber's license.
Backflow certification preferred.
5+ years of experience in Plumbing.
Extensive knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and regulations.
Excellent project management and leadership skills.
Ability to solve complex problems.
High School Diploma or GED: Required as a basic educational foundation.
Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.
Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
Backflow Certification preferred
