As a Forklift Operator – Plywood Handling, you will be responsible for aligning with production planning and executing a comprehensive warehouse management process that ensures efficient supply of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods inventory to support equipment and operations.
What We Offer Pay of $17 per hour First Shift | 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Overtime and weekends Health benefits, including telehealth medical services Opportunity for Advancement Referral bonuses What We Are Looking For High School Diploma or GED 3+ years of forklift operation experience OSHA Forklift Certification Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks such as stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, and twisting as required by the job What You Will Do As A Forklift Operator Understand the approved attributes of dimensional lumber and implement a cleaning process to ensure the product meets finishing requirements Safely, efficiently, and effectively handle the loading, unloading, transferring, and storing of materials used in the manufacturing process Align with assigned Production, Shipping, and Packaging responsibilities Adhere to safety pre-operational checks and comply with the plant's safety program Maintain warehouse staging for all materials by established requirements Utilize handheld scanning devices to track raw materials and manage inventory transactions accurately Operate equipment safely as outlined in Job Hazardous Analysis or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Store and load outgoing shipments while identifying potential shortages or quality issues Retrieve and dispose of supplies and raw materials, ensuring inspection, de-stacking, and securing of first-quality products that meet customer expectations Replace supplies as needed to maintain operational flow Complete daily paperwork and maintain accurate records Perform quality control tasks to ensure product standards are met Perform additional duties as assigned
