PM Housekeeping Attendant

SUMMARY
The PM Housekeeping Attendant position at Juniper Preserve will be in charge of maintaining and cleaning the public spaces at Juniper Preserve, as well as responding to calls for service.

Full-Time Seasonal

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Lodge:

General Cleaning of the Lobby of the hotel including glass doors, stairs, elevators, empty trash cans and replace liners, dust and wet mopping floors, dusting high and low.
  Empty trash and replace can liners
 

Trailhead:

General cleaning of Trailhead; empty trash and replace can liners, dust and wet mopping floors, dusting high and low, clean windows
  Maintain Pool towels throughout building as needed daily
  Monitoring and reporting maintenance needs
  Locker rooms and restrooms cleaned and stocked regularly throughout all shifts
  Linens cleaned, organized and inventoried when required
  Work independently, managing pace for workload
  Review special events and assignments daily
  Assist in cleaning units as needed
 

Clubhouse:

General cleaning of entire Clubhouse; empty trash and replace can liners, dust and wet mopping floors, dusting high and low, clean windows
  Monitoring and reporting maintenance needs
  Locker rooms and restrooms cleaned and stocked regularly throughout all shifts including towels
  Linens cleaned, organized and inventoried when required
 

Comfort Stations/Maintenance:

General cleaning of all other facility buildings including Maintenance building D, Comfort stations, Community Services; empty trash and replace can liners, dust and wet mopping floors, dusting high and low, clean windows
  Monitoring and reporting maintenance needs
  Locker rooms and restrooms cleaned and stocked regularly throughout all shifts
  Linens cleaned, organized and inventoried when required
 

Guest Contact:

Maintain a respectful, friendly and helpful attitude when meeting or greeting any members or guests of members.
  Assist when necessary in arrivals / departures or other guests’ needs.
  Using a guest's name is mandatory.

Stocking supplies:

Keep Housekeeping closets stocked with amenities and cleaning supplies.
  Alert supervisor of shortages for re-order.

Lodge / Residence Club / Patios:

Maintaining the overall Patio cleanliness.
  Assist housekeeping with stripping linen and garbage.
  Property trash run
  Do Turn Down Service when necessary.
  Assist guests in any way necessary.
 

General:

Must be 18 years old.
  Able to read, write and follow directions
  Physical ability to lift 20 pounds frequently, bend, stretch and climb stairs.
  Exhibit good reasoning, problem solving, public relations and employee relations.
  Ability to work as part of a team.
  Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Be flexible in days and hours.
  Manages workflow effectively and in an organized and timely manner.
  Able to effectively handle multiple tasks.
  Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  Regular and reliable attendance.
  Maintains a professional standard at Juniper Preserve including, but not limited to, appearance, interaction with members, associates, guests of the club, verbal discussions and written correspondence. Does not discuss work related issues with members and resort guests.
  Maintains positive attitude and the flexibility to take on new and different tasks as assigned by the Facilities Manager and Housekeeping Supervisors.
 

QUALIFICATIONS
Required

  High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  Must be able to read and understand written and oral instructions.
  Must be able to comprehend topics of a conceptual nature.
 

WORKING CONDITIONS
Will range from 100% inside to outdoor when relocating between buildings.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee is required several times in a day to stand; walk; climb stairs or ladders; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Occasionally may be needed to lift 25+ pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth of perception, ability to adjust focus.
