We have an immediate position open for a **PM Mechanic** to work at our Opa-Locka shop in **Opa Locka,** **FL** . Diesel Mechanics interested in secure, steady employment in a family atmosphere are encouraged to apply. Pay Range is $20-$24/hr. DOE Responsibilities Include: + Performs repairs and assignedpreventive maintenanceservices. Performs inspections, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment. + Utilizes vehicle computerelectronicssystems to interpretfailure modesto initiate or assign repairs. + Conductssafetychecks on vehicles and equipment. + Completes requiredpaperworkutilizingfleet maintenancesoftware program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times. + Reviews, completes or assigns repairs identified on DriverVehicle InspectionReports. + Performsmaintenancerelated work as required. + Maintains a clean, safe work area incompliancewith corporate and OSHA standards. + Performs all work in accordance with establishedsafetyprocedures. + Ability to effectively communicateneeded repairs or tasks. The ideal candidate will possess: + 2 years experience in heavy truckequipment maintenanceand repair; or completion of accredited vocational technical school programs + Class C (regular driver's license) required + Provide personal tools. + Proficiency in vehicle and equipment diagnosis and repair. + Ability to read and comprehend service and technical information.
