The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding and foundation in diesel engine diagnostics, maintenance, and repair. POSITION OVERVIEW: As an entry-level Diesel Technician, you'll have the chance to learn and grow while performing a range of tasks, including: + Inspection and lubrication of diesel engines. + Checking cab, frame, front axle, steering gear, and springs. + Brake system maintenance and repairs. + Clutch, transmission, and differential servicing. + Engine tune-ups, electrical inspections, and testing. + Trailer repairs and diagnostics. + Compiling complete parts lists. + Repairing damaged areas to industry standards. + Preparing surfaces for refinishing and color-matching paint. Requirements + 2 or fewer years of experience in diesel mechanics or a related field; more experience is a plus. + Willingness to learn and grow within the role. + Basic knowledge of diesel engine systems and repair techniques. + Ability to work with diagnostic tools and equipment. + Strong work ethic and attention to detail. + Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
