PM Systems Mechanic-Presbyterian Med Center/Univ of PA-POM
**Job Description** The PM Systems Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative maintenance on heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration, water treatment, humidification, and domestic hot water systems. This role also involves monitoring HVAC systems and ensuring routine maintenance is completed according to established schedules. ****Full Time (Evening & Weekends with the ability to Work All Shifts if needed)**** **Hourly Pay Rate: $31.09/HR** **Job Responsibilities** + Maintain a friendly, efficient Spirit of Service attitude towards customers, co-workers, and clients. + Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and DDC systems. + Conduct preventative maintenance on mechanical utility systems (fans, pumps, compressors, valves, steam traps, strainers, etc.), plumbing, and pipe fitting as needed to maintain all utility systems. + Monitor HVAC systems and operations, including understanding and working with computer functions related to Emergency Management and Building Automated Systems. + Ensure routine preventative maintenance is performed according to established schedules, including checking, cleaning, or replacing filters, bearings, belts, coils, valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, and compressors. + Adhere to all established systems and training programs to ensure a safe working environment. + Comply with all OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal government regulations. In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice. **Qualifications** + High school diploma or general education degree (GED). + HVAC Certification preferred + 0-2 years of basic maintenance experience. + The role requires evening and weekend work, with the ability to work all shifts if needed. + The employee must be able to work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings. + The role requires adherence to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
