The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing our project management office, ensuring the successful delivery of projects across various sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects and drive excellence in project management practices. **Key Responsibilities** + Leadership & Management: Establish and lead the PMO team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities. + **Project Governance:** Establish and maintain project management standards, methodologies, and best practices. + **Performance Monitoring:** Track and report on project performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. + **Risk Management:** Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project delivery. + **Resource Allocation:** Optimize resource allocation and utilization across projects to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. + **Stakeholder Engagement:** Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives. + **Continuous Improvement:** Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO to enhance project delivery processes and outcomes. + **Collaboration** : Develop working relationships and embed a one-team approach. + **Integration** : Coordinate the support services requirements of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). + **Digital** : Work with the digital lead and PP to develop and implement a “Digital by default” PMO to deliver robust, high-quality outputs to inform decision-makers. **Expected Knowledge, Behaviour, and Skills** **Knowledge** + Experience in project management and PMO. + Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. + Knowledge of industry standards and best practices. **Behaviour** + Strong leadership and team management skills. + Proactive and results-oriented with a strong focus on delivering high-quality outcomes. + Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. + Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities. 1. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders. 2.
