PMO Manager (Shared Services)

The Manager, Project Management and Value Creation for the APAC and EMEA Regions is responsible for supporting the Integrated Global Services Site directors by managing the project portfolio, across IGS APA and EMEA regions, and collaborating with the IGS PMO and Digital enablement Sr. Manager with continuous improvement and project management activities associated with key initiatives to streamline word class processes across IGS.  The Manager will oversee and manage project delivery and execution of various cross functional projects.  Reporting to the Director of the Kuala Lumpur IGS, this role is essential in ensuring seamless alignment and execution of projects to deliver the intended value to Ingredion as a whole.  The goal is to capture and track all project value contributions to the APAC and EMEA regions.  The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking, project management expertise, and the ability to coordinate and influence cross functional teams.  
 

Core Responsibilities:

Lead the project portfolio management and execution across IGS for APAC and EMEA in alignment to the global initiatives’ prioritization defined by the Project Portfolio Steering CommitteeMeasure value creation from all the different projects, including those related to continuous improvement for Kuala Lumpur and present update to IGS LeadershipOversee and develop project scope, budget, timeline, risk assessment and change management for all projects.Oversee and execute the implementation of projects for IGS to ensure all of them are on budget, on time and within the quality requirements.Lead and Manage cross functional projects ensuring alignment with overall project goalsDevelop detailed project plans including timelines, milestones and resource allocationCoordinate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless execution of project deliverablesMonitor project progress, identify/escalate risks and develop contingency plansProvide project portfolio, value capture and individual updates to IGS Leadership on a regular basisEnsure compliance with project management standards and best practices as defined by the Senior Manager of PMO and Ingredion’s PM governance standardsConduct Lessons Learned and project reviews post implementation to evaluate areas of improvementsSupport the overall PMO and be a key member of the PMO Team in keeping up to date with digital capabilities and identify areas of continuous improvementEvaluate potential process automations in conjunction with IGS Kuala Lumpur leadersDevelop and execute the Lean Six Sigma training plan for Kuala Lumpur in alignment to the global standards defined by Senior Manager of PMO and global IGS teamAssess existing and new systems/applications to accelerate the digital enablement across IGS.Collaborate closely with leadership team to align on strategic requirements and process management.Identify areas of opportunity and initiate projects with achievable goals. Support operations through facilitation and implementation of Continuous Improvement projects, sustaining, improving, and streamlining overall processes within the organization.Function as a consultant and business partner to other groups across IGS as required.Provide support, guidance, leadership, and motivation to promote a psychological safety environment along with team engagement and commitment, bringing as a result a high performing team.Other Duties as assigned.
 

Qualified candidates will have:

Mandatory requirements:

Bachelor or master’s degree in business, or related field10+ years’ experience with 7 years in project management in Shared ServicesAdvanced expertise on Agile and Hybrid frameworks for project managementA minimum certification of Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma

Desirable requirements:

Black belt on Lean Six SigmaSkills in Digital EnablementProject Management Professional certification a plus
