Position Summary\n

SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a PNT Engineer \/ SME - Sr Level (USMC Liaison) to support our Washington Area Operation. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.\n

Primary Duties and Responsibilities of PNT Engineer \/ SME - Sr Level (USMC Liaison)\n\nAct as a qualified Subject Matter Expert (SME) on PNT, Alternate PNT areas, and the alignment and integration of MCSC PNT efforts.\nSeek to identify other experts elsewhere within PM PNT who can assist MCSC, including participating in meetings as necessary.\nAct as a qualified individual to track CMOSS requirements related to PNT cards (SWaP-C and Cyber) to include US Navy Zero Trust equities and NSA COMSEC (Type 1) and Tempest issues with PNT Card integration.\nTrack any Cross Domain Solution issues between unclassified and classified for PNT.\nCoordinate with the PM MAGTF C2 US Army Representative (embedded at PEO LS) with respect to PNT integration into PEO LS vehicular platforms.\nCollaborate with the PM TCE Technical Support Staff specifically the Advanced Technology Integrator (ATI) for PNT and Alternate PNT technology issues and Team SERPNT, including Lead Systems Engineer, Lead Integration Engineer for Vehicle Integration, and the MITRE SME for PNT.\nSubmit weekly situation reports, technology reports, and\/or vehicle related reports as needed.\nReview requirements documentation such as Performance Specifications and ICDs associated with the following: GPS M-Code and Y-Code, Inertial Navigation systems, other sensors, and LEO \/ MEO constellations.\nDevelop System test procedures, debugging RF system performance issues.\nCreate and manage timelines and tasks for multi-disciplinary project and maintaining good cross-functional collaboration.\nProvide technical expertise and solutions to customer requirements\nTransfer skills and technical knowledge to support teams and partners\n\n

Minimum Qualifications of PNT Engineer \/ SME - Sr Level (USMC Liaison)
Bachelor's Degree in STEM related field and 5+ years of relevant experience (preferably 10+ years of relevant experience). Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered. Primary Knowledge & Skills Desired\n\nExperience with PNT\/GNSS technologies, including test methodology and analysis skills.\nUnderstanding of GPS Segments: Ground Control, Space, and User Equipment.\nExperience RF testing and RF system-level test methods for PNT solutions.\nKnowledge of GPS Constellation Operations\nDeep familiarity with GPS Segment: Ground Control, Space, and User Equipment\nExperience with integration on multiple LRU systems.\nFamiliarity with electronics components with GPS User Equipment and A-PNT Systems\nFamiliarity with other United States Space Force (USSF) mission systems and architectures\n\n

Additional Skills\n\nExcellent communication skills, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, and a team player.\nExcellent writing and communication skills to develop and deliver technical products and presentations.\nAbility to communicate complex information effectively internally and externally.\nAbility to collaborate geographically disparate stakeholders.\nSuccess working in a highly collaborative environment with peers and government officials.\nDetail-oriented with effective time management skills.\nExperience with process improvement and implementation.\nExperience with reviewing and implementing change associated with technical documentation.\n\n
