Job Description
Material Movers will be responsible for moving material within the distribution center. This role involves a lot of physical activity, including standing, walking, and heavy lifting throughout the day. The role requires the handing off of pods to the Loading/Unloading team, using pallet jacks to move products, and loading and unloading trucks. This position includes light housekeeping tasks and inventory assistance. Expect to be on your feet 100% of the day with no time to sit.

You will be part of the launch of a large Amazon Robotics Distribution Center in Virginia Beach. The position offers competitive pay to offset the 6-month contract length, providing a unique opportunity to be involved in a significant project from the ground up.
Work Environment
The work environment is currently in the construction phase as the distribution center is being completed. It is a construction work environment with port-a-potties available. The facility is non-climate controlled.
