**Job Title: Processing Operator in Ames, IA**
**Job Description**
As a Processing Operator, you will be responsible for managing the processing lines for spaghetti production. This includes entering recipes into the computer, verifying numbers to ensure proper operation, conducting quality checks, and performing changeovers. You will also be required to fill out paperwork and regularly check the quality of the dough.
**Responsibilities**
+ Manage processing lines for spaghetti production.
+ Enter recipes into the computer and verify numbers for proper operation.
+ Conduct regular quality checks on dough.
+ Perform changeovers, including scraping dough out of bins.
+ Fill out necessary paperwork for quality checks and changeovers.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in process control.
+ Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
+ Comfortable standing for the entire shift.
+ 1+ years of previous work experience in production or food manufacturing.
+ Understanding and compliance with quality procedures related to food safety, including PRPs, OPRPs, CCPs, and FSMA requirements.
+ Knowledge of production processes and food production.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Previous mechanical knowledge.
+ General working knowledge of computers.

**Work Environment**
This position operates in a very warm environment, averaging 80 degrees and sometimes reaching upwards of 100 degrees. You will spend 30-40% of your time in an air-conditioned control room. On the production floor, the temperature ranges from 85-95 degrees. In the dye wash rooms, the environment is wet. The dress code includes jeans or work pants, steel toe boots, and no jewelry or piercings. Hair nets, beard nets (if applicable), hard hats, and lab coats will be provided. The shift is from 7 PM to 7 AM or 7AM to 7PM on a rotating schedule.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ames, Iowa.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00
