Overview The Laboratory Point of Care Coordinator is responsible for the overall operation of Point of Care testing on the patient floors and the lab for the hospital system. This position requires an individual who is highly skilled in clinical area as it relates to Laboratory results and accreditation. This individual helps maintain excellent rapport among Laboratory, Physicians, Nursing Staff and other Hospital Departments. This individual works closely with the Laboratory Director to maintain policy, procedures. Qualifications Education Bachelor's of Science degree required Licensure/Certification/Registration State of Florida. MLT (TC) or MT (TN) (preferred) Training: MLT/ MT or equivalent; LIS Training and or experience preferred. Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Experience: At least two-year experience in hospital lab environment
