A caregiver in this role will generally work 8am - 5pm, depending on business and travel need.

Responsibilities:

Investigates and analyzes restricted sensitive matters relating to staff, non-staff employees and others whose activities may have an impact on the ClevelandClinic operations or interests.Conducts and assists with risk assessment and the development and implementation of countermeasures.Identifies vulnerabilities and evaluates or prioritizes the risks.Develops an employee training program which stresses awareness and personnel responsibility for security.Conducts in-service training within topical area of expertise which offers continuity and provides a continuing positive effect on police operations.Provides executive protection to local, state, federal and foreign dignitaries and celebrities.Comprehensively gathers protective intelligence and performs risk analysis.Other duties as assigned.

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice or related field required.Additional 4 years of law enforcement or investigative experience may offset degree requirement.

Certifications:

Certification for a State or Federal law enforcement training (OPOTA) center preferred.

Complexity of Work:

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. 

Work Experience:

Five years of law enforcement or investigative experience.

Physical Requirements:

Typical physical demands include a high degree of dexterity to produce materials on a PC, normal or corrected vision, and extensive standing and frequent walking.Ability to qualify with firearms.

Personal Protective Equipment:

Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
