**Responsibilities**
Monitor and respond to potential and/or actual security threats.
Responsibilities:
+ Assist with investigations, conduct security assessments, and maintain professional standards.
+ Has authority to arrest for both misdemeanors and/or felonies under applicable law, and provide courttestimony as required.
+ Coordinate with chain of command, internal/external departments and other agencies as needed.
+ Operate vehicle in a safe and responsible manner to avoid accidents and traffic violations.
+ Maintain vehicle in a safe and clean condition and promptly communicate need for service or repairs.
+ May train and educate staff on response and security procedures and other training as assigned.
**Requirements**
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
AND
One or more of the following required:
+ Certification specializing in Peace Officer obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
+ Law Enforcement obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
+ High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
Work Experience:
+ Shall be at least 21 years of age in order to attend the required law enforcement training academy courses.
