Job Description:

The Police Officer is responsible for protection and safety of all center staff, patients and visitors.

Patrols all areas of the FMC main campus, off-site locations in and outside of the city. Ability to use, maintain, carry, and shoot firearms including: pistols, shotguns, rifles, and automatic weapons to the department standards. Responds to radio dispatched, citizen reported or directly observed calls for police action. Conduct preliminary investigations of crimes, accidents, and suspicious or dangerous incidents. Responds to the scenes of accidents, emergencies and disasters and remove people from dangerous situations. Makes arrests and takes persons into custody. Inspect, maintain and drive motor vehicles. Appear and testify at trials and hearings. Complete forms, records and compose reports.
