**Position Description:**
The Policy, Process, and Quality Management Lead is responsible for overseeing the development and improvement of IT policies, overseeing and leading the improvement of IT processes to improve their performance and compliance with quality standards, and
overseeing the governance of IT project/product quality. Responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives and collaborating with stakeholders to align IT services with business objectives.
This position is located in Washington, DC.
**Your future duties and responsibilities:**
• Proficient in Lean Six Sigma process improvement techniques and tools.
• Proficient in facilitating meetings with stakeholders, to elicit and extract relevant information about policies, processes, and procedures, and then capturing that information into publishable
documentation.
• Possess excellent, executive level presentation skills.
• Possess understanding of standards and guidelines for Quality Management, Auditing, and Testing (e.g. the ISO 9000 family, ISO 19011, ISO 29119, and ISO 42001).
• Proficient in collecting and analyzing process and procedural metrics and generating data analytics reports (e.g. Tableau dashboard reports).
**Required qualifications to be successful in this role:**
• 10+ years of professional work experience in the Federal Government IT space as a leader and individual contributor in the areas of Process Improvement, Quality Management, and IT Policy.
• Hands-on experience assessing as-is organizational process environments using process improvement frameworks (e.g. CMMI), and recommending viable improvements - including improvements to processes, procedures, tools, and templates used to support the enterprise - to raise the organization’s capability and
maturity levels within a reasonable timeline.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is required
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
• Certifications in Lean, CMMI v3, PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), COBIT 2019, and/or ITIL 4 are a strong plus.
• ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/ Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), and/or Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) are a plus.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $125,500.00 - $241,600.00.
