Coordinates the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Hospital’s Emergency Management and safety programs, policies, and procedures to prepare for and direct the actions of the hospital community in the event of an emergency; assists with and manages hospital wide and department policies and procedures. Keeps the organization updated on AHCA, TJC, CMS, and OSHA requirements, particularly the Environment of Care rules under TJC. Manages the hospital policy and Safety Data Sheet databases. Provides gap analysis and research for special projects related to compliance. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** · Conducts research and stays up to date on regulatory compliance measures. · Maintain required documentation for compliance. · Maintains a consistently high level of quality throughout the department in services provided to all customers, both internal and external. · Completes special tasks as assigned. · Facilitates safety and emergency management training. Collaborates with Education staff to design and implement needed education modules for new employees and continuing education.
