Key responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: + Facilitate engagement with state councils and internal MDH legislative partners to support the division’s legislative presence. + Facilitate communication and collaboration between PSC and other teams in the Health Equity Strategy and Innovation Division. + Build and sustain cross-functional relationships within the Health Equity Strategy and Innovation Division and with agency-wide partners, representing policy and systems thinking in initiatives and driving successful project outcomes through operational management. + Provide operational support related to equitable grant making initiatives within the Policy and Systems Change team and relevant agency partners. This position may have the option of teleworking based on the business needs and manager discretion. Commuting to the St. Paul office and other MDH office locations across the state may be required. Qualifications to be assessed further during the interview: + Strong background in health equity, racial justice, and systems change frameworks. + Ability to collaborate with a variety of internal teams and stakeholders. + Demonstrated experience facilitating, planning, and recording meetings. + Knowledge of the Minnesota Department of Health functions, policies, legislative and grant making procedures. A related Doctorate degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience.; Master's degree may substitute for 18 months of experience; Bachelor's degree may substitute for one (1) year of experience; Associate degree may substitute for six (6) months of experience. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience facilitating consensus and agreements with individuals and groups with various perspectives. + Experience exercising flexibility to adapt to continuous organizational and program changes. + Experience making recommendations on important decisions and provide evidence to support decisions or help leadership make decisions. + Experience preparing reports, talking points, and summaries in a timely and professional manner. **Additional Requirements** This position requires successful completion of a background check and employment reference check.
