POLY FOIA Litigation Analyst
A client of Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled FOIA Litigation Analyst to sit fully onsite in Herndon, VA. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to evaluate each unique case effectively. They will utilize a broad array of customer systems and tools to accurately inform the review and release process. Due to the complexity of most requests, excellent time management and the ability to collaborate with team members are essential.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Review FOIA requests from court systems, lawsuits, Congress, and individuals.
Use strong analytical skills to determine what information can and cannot be released to the public.
Examine classified electronic documents.
Mark up documents electronically to indicate classified information.
Produce detailed reports with recommendations for information release.
Archive documents systematically for easy retrieval.
Retrieve documents as needed for ongoing cases and requests.
Ensure all tools and systems are active and producing necessary metrics for government points of contact.
Monitor and maintain databases and case management tools.
Communicate effectively and professionally with other agency analysts.
Ensure timely and clear communication to facilitate smooth workflow and collaboration.
After initial assessment, send documents to the information review office.


Compensation: $60,000 to $95,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law.
