Summary DCSA's National Center for Credibility Assessment is seeking a highly motivated and skilled polygraph examiners. These jobs require expert experience and knowledge in all facets of polygraph and credibility assessment. Responsibilities As a POLYGRAPH SPECIALIST you will be responsible for the following duties: - Facilitates innovation and the continuous modernization of learning products that align with the polygraph community and learning best practices. - Provides authoritative policy guidance, advise and assistance to Agency officials and all levels of personnel across the federal polygraph community on utilization of polygraph and polygraph practices - Conducts oversight inspections across the federal polygraph community - Instructs basic and advanced students in all facets - Conducts curriculum development, review, maintenance of initial polygraph examiner education and mandated continuing education training. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GG/GS 13 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience in providing initial polygraph examiner training and polygraph continuing education across the federal community; Experience liaising with other federal agencies regarding polygraph and credibility assessment and polygraph program oversight; Experience in all aspects of conducting polygraph examinations at the federal level; Knowledge of policies and guidelines related to polygraph and credibility assessment and providing guidance across the federal polygraph community; Experience and skill at oral and written communication, particularly in reference to technical matters. Conflict Management- Manages and resolves conflicts, grievances, confrontations, or disagreements in a positive and constructive manner to minimize negative personal impact. Education Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
